FAQ

What RouteRiff is — and isn’t.

Can I paste a ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini itinerary?

Yes. RouteRiff handles main stops written as day labels, bullets, arrows, commas or one place per line. For a long AI answer, the cleanest input is the overnight cities or the major stops you actually want to sanity-check.

Does RouteRiff calculate exact train, road or flight times?

No. The current MVP uses geographic distance and simple travel-mode heuristics to reveal route shape and travel load. Always verify exact schedules, roads, borders and booking conditions with official sources.

Why not just use an AI chat?

AI chats are good at generating text. RouteRiff turns an existing plan into a persistent visual object you can play, reorder, share, remix and take into a booking workflow.

Is RouteRiff free?

The current validation version is free and requires no account.
